The pulling strength of this magnet according to Great White Magnetics is 2 tonnes or nearly 5,000 pounds. That is some serious magnet strength! Given this magnet is very heavy, be mindful of this weight when looking to go magnet fishing as you can get worn out quite quickly throwing out and pulling in this magnet!
